Sir Norman Lamb MP, Parliament of the United Kingdom
Sir Norman Lamb has been the Liberal Democrat MP for North Norfolk since 2001. After serving as a minister in the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, he was appointed Minister of State for Care and Support at the Department of Health in September 2012 and served in this position until the end of the Coalition Government in May 2015. As Health Minister, he worked to reform the care system and led the drive to integrate health and social care, with a greater focus on preventing ill health. He also challenged the NHS to ensure that mental health was treated with the same priority as physical health, including the introduction of access and waiting standards in mental health for the first time. He was the Liberal Democrat Health spokesperson between 2015 and 2017, and was elected Chair of the Science & Technology Select Committee in July 2017.

Michael Bennett, Hill Dickinson
Michael Bennett is the head of Hill Dickinson’s corporate and commercial team in London which advises clients on a broad range of transactions with a focus on UK and international flotations, reverse takeovers, placings, open offers and dual listings (including Canada, South Africa and Australia). He then transformed the business, now named Riverside Nursery into Cannabis production. He is currently CEO of Farm Frontiers, and is currently raising funds to develop Vertical Farming technology to be able to remotely grow crops anywhere in the world.

Robert Cookson, Hanway Associates
Robert Cookson is a consultant at Hanway Associates. He advises companies on how to enter and build their businesses in Europe's legal cannabis markets. His work includes regulatory forecasting, competitive analysis and market sizing. Previously, Robert spent nearly a decade as a journalist at the Financial Times in London and Hong Kong, covering a range of topics from technology and media to Asian financial markets. He has also worked at Amazon and Piton Capital, a venture capital fund. He has a degree in Experimental Psychology from the University of Oxford and an MBA from London Business School.
